Thankfully, Dubai has the perfect spots for these kinds of dining destinations, and the city has a diverse selection for everyone to try out.
So we went and tried out some of the most recommended spots in the city to give you Dubai’s best food truck restaurants.

A food truck that became so popular it now has its own restaurant, SALT has grown a strong cult following in Dubai because of their love for this food truck’s commitment to quality ingredients and passion for growing a community.
Its menu is all about all-American dining, with a wide variety of burgers, fries, and refreshing drinks.
What we love about this food truck is that its ingredients are sourced locally, as part of its dedication to supporting local businesses.
We especially love its Truffle Burger with a Wagyu beef patty that goes so well with the richness of the truffle sauce.
However, its popularity slows down the service significantly. We were disappointed to realize that our orders took way too long for our liking, and sitting under the heat waiting did not help with that either.
Despite that, the ambiance is really great. Its metal-clad food truck bounces the sunlight off and produces this amazing glow in the middle of the beach, and the neon lights bring that Americana style while also staying modern and cool.
As for its accessibility, its popularity has helped it expand into 4 locations around the city, plus an actual restaurant, so a SALT burger is never too far from where we are.

With a name that sounds like it would be a quirky indie film selected for the Cannes Film Festival, Pineapple Express brings fun to healthy snacks that are ready to be picked up on the side of the road.
With a menu that consists of acai bowls, smoothie bowls, granola, raw treats, and many more, we love that we can always expect a refreshing and filling dining experience here.
We also love how we do not have to feel guilty about getting food here because it lovingly describes its food as a “good for your insides” type of fare. However, the taste of the food is not really for everyone.
The service needs some improvement. Some items are always not available, to the point that they should just update the menu at this point.
It is quick and efficient, though, because most of its food is prepared and packed easily.
There is also not much to say about the ambiance, and the place is so small that unless you are having it to go, it’s not worth eating there.
However, we do love how colorful its food truck is. The bright sky-blue exterior complements the yellow accents, making it a striking sight.
When it comes to accessibility, it’s sad that it only has one location, but the decision to position it outside of a big gym ensures that it reaches its intended target market which is amazing and makes up for that.

What’s better than a food truck? A food truck park, specifically, Last Exit, and its selection of burger joints, taco stands, and Arabic street food that is perfect for coming in and going out of Dubai.
Being a food truck park means the menu is diverse, and the combinations are endless.
We simply love not having to discuss, as a group, what we should get whenever we’re here because each of us can simply get the bites that we want.
That being said, some food trucks can be a hit or miss, so be sure to get recommendations and look out for the popular ones because you can never go wrong with those.
The service can also be a hit or miss. Some food trucks have a great system to accommodate a big number of customers, while others do not.
Its ambiance is definitely its biggest selling point for us.
It has a great space filled with vintage decor and a vibe inspired by American food trucks. The way it is designed is also very much inspired by American road trips.
The Last Exit has 4 locations that can be found at the exits of Dubai, so it is the perfect place to grab a quick bite when you’re driving out of or into the city.

Offering a little slice of the Italian rom-com fantasy, Piazza 17 is parked at the City Walk where the hustle and bustle of pedestrians and cars mingle with its la dolce vita vibes.
The menu is an interesting collection of showstopping pizzas (perfect for a group), espresso, salads, sandwiches, and many more. However, we do love taking it slow in the middle of the day as we enjoy its beautiful vegan gelatos.
The pizza selection is amazing because it has all the classics, like the Margherita, but also some fun ones including one topped with Wurstel sausages and fries.
We also love how sweet, attentive, and polite its staff is. They made sure that we had a table during that busy night we came to their food truck.
We also love how bustling the surrounding area is with pedestrians. It just makes the place feel even more alive and cinematic, especially during the evenings.
However, it can also be a distracting factor because when it gets really busy, the noise and the visual clutter become overwhelming.
It is made up by the fact that it has 2 locations in the city. One central branch is in City Walk, while the other is one of the food trucks in Last Exit.
This is great because Piazza17 has great coverage within the city, and in the outskirts of it as well.

With its multi-decorated affordable ice lollies and cones, Desert Chill has become quite a welcome presence as it constantly roams the city ready to share the sweetness with everyone.
This retro-style desert food truck dishes out the classics such as popsicles, ice cream cones, and cups, and these all come with a multitude of toppings that customers can choose from.
While it is definitely just limited to cold sweet treats, we love that its amazing range of toppings gives us different flavor combos all the time.
There really is not much to say about the service, they were friendly but it is hard to review the service quality when the staff is literally just taking out pre-made popsicles and handing these to us.
Despite that, the staff kept a friendly and approachable demeanor every time we buy treats from them.
Its ambiance is a retro-style ice cream truck, which is a fun element to the whole look. We also appreciate that it sets out a dining area every time it makes a stop.
When it comes to accessibility, we love and hate the fact that it roams the city. We love it because that means that covers a big portion of Dubai, but at the same time, that means we are leaving it up to chance whenever we want its cold deserts.
