4 Mazes in Dubai That’ll Make You Question Your Sense of Direction
The first time I walked into an indoor maze in Dubai, I figured I’d be out in five minutes tops. I mean, how hard could it be? It’s just a few walls and some turns, right?
Wrong.
I couldn’t stop laughing—and neither could my friends. That’s when I realized: getting lost on purpose can actually be a lot of fun. And the best part? Every maze is indoors and fully air-conditioned, so you can enjoy all the confusion without breaking a sweat.
If you’re looking for a cool weekend activity, something to do with the kids, or just want to test your sense of direction (or lack of it), there are awesome mazes in Dubai you can explore! Here are the best ones to get lost in.

We went to the Mirror Maze at Dubai Mall, and honestly, it was like stepping into a giant kaleidoscope. Everything looked the same—shiny, sparkly, and confusing in the best way.
We walked in feeling confident…and walked into a mirror about five seconds later.
The maze is full of mirrors (no surprise there), so every direction looks right—and wrong—at the same time. One minute, we were laughing, the next we were apologizing to our own reflections. Awkward.
It’s not a huge place, so don’t expect to be in there forever. We finished it pretty fast, but it was still lots of fun. The lights bounce around everywhere, which makes it even harder to tell what’s real.
The staff here was super nice. They gave us the rundown before we went in and were polite enough not to laugh when we came back out looking a bit more disheveled. There’s no time limit inside either, so you can take it slow if you want more madness.
Pro Tip:
Skip the reservation unless it’s a super busy day! Most days, you can walk right in and start having fun without the extra planning stress.
Go in to laugh, not to compete—this maze and the games are way more fun when you let go and enjoy the craziness. The more you embrace the chaos, the better the experience gets!

For those looking for a fun maze to complete in Dubai, the Infinity Maze at Exo Planet City, the newest space-themed attraction inside Global Village, is a must visit!
When we first walked in, everything looked normal. A few steps later, we were laughing and turning in circles, trying to figure out which way to go. There were mirrors everywhere, and we kept seeing ourselves in every direction.
It’s all glass, lights, and clever tricks that play with your head in the best way possible.
There’s also themed areas–there’s a space-themed area with astronauts and the little green aliens that spooked us unexpectedly. There were also dinosaurs and underwater creatures–we knew they were just holograms, but we did our best not to get too scared.
Pro Tip:
Take your time! There’s no need to rush. Finish the maze but enjoy the different areas of it too. Snap some fun photos while you’re at it!
Try the other attractions at Exo Planet City! Check out the Gravity Vortex, the fun 5D Cinema, and the space game Galaxy Hunter!
3. Mirror Maze at the Dubai Dolphinarium

Operating Hours: Monday Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday – 9 AM to 7 PM; Friday – 9 AM to 4 PM
Price Range: AED 15 per person
We went to the Mirror Maze at Dubai Dolphinarium and we walked into more mirrors than we care to admit. It’s next to all the dolphin and bird shows and we thought it would be easy. It was not.
As soon as we stepped in, it felt like we were trapped in a giant mirror selfie. Every direction looked the same. Left looked like right, and right looked like… another wall. We kept waving at our own reflections like confused tourists.
They also gave us gloves at the door — probably so we don’t leave too many fingerprints. The maze is small and it only takes about five minutes to get through, unless you keep walking in circles like we did.
Good news though: there’s no time limit, so if your kids want to go again (and they probably will), you totally can!
There were flashing lights bouncing around the mirrors, which made everything even crazier. It felt like being inside a music video from the ‘80s — all we were missing were leg warmers and big hair.
Pro Tip:
Heads up on the flashing lights! It adds to the fun, but if you’re sensitive to bright lights or prone to headaches or migraines, it might not be the most comfortable experience.
Make sure to wear the gloves that are handed out at the entrance! They help keep the mirrors clean and smudge-free, and let’s be real, no one wants to see a trail of greasy fingerprints giving away the way out.
4. Mirror Maze at TAKEOFF VR PARK

Website: https://takeoffvr.com/mirror-maze/
Address: Burjuman – Al Mankhool – Dubai (in BurJuman Mall)
Contact Details: +971 4 852 8415
Operating Hours: Monday to Sunday – 10 AM to 11 PM
Price Range: AED 15 to 45 per person per attraction
We went to Takeoff VR at BurJuman Mall and made the brilliant decision to try the Mirror Maze. We thought it would be a cute little walk through some mirrors–turns out it was not. Plus, our brains were not ready!
This maze doesn’t mess around. Mirrors everywhere. Some real, some fake, all ready to confuse you. We kept waving at our own reflections, slowly looking a little cuckoo while doing so. One of us tried to lead the group with confidence—and walked right into a wall.
Colored lights flash, reflections go on forever, and there’s no way to tell which way is right–we didn’t expect it to be quite challenging.
Still, even though we walked into a dozen dead ends and maybe bumped into a mirror or two (okay, more like six), we couldn’t stop laughing. Kids will love it, but honestly, it’s just as fun for grown-ups!
Pro Tip:
If you’re planning a birthday party or group event, it’s a good idea to book in advance, especially on weekends when the venue gets busier.
Make sure to try the VR games and other attractions! They’re a bit pricey (but still cheaper than most in Dubai) but totally worth it! There’s a Mars simulator, a formula car racing experience, and more!
