12 Palm Jumeirah Views That Look Straight Out of a Screensaver
I’ve been to the Palm Jumeirah area plenty of times (going to bars for drinks, usually) but it took a lot of convincing for me to spend money for a ticket to see it from above.
The first time I looked down at Palm Jumeirah from high up in the Palm Tower, I couldn’t believe my eyes. Sure, I’d seen lots of pictures of the famous palm-shaped island before, but seeing it in real life was something else–like a peacock, it was like Dubai was showing off!
Since then, I’ve discovered the best places to enjoy Palm Jumeirah views, from pricey rooftop pools to zen-but-occasionally-crowded walking paths by the beach. Here are the best spots I found to see these amazing views!
The View at The Palm

Website: https://www.theviewpalm.ae/
Address: Palm Jumeirah Rd, The Palm Tower – 52nd Floor – The Palm Jumeirah – Dubai (in Nakheel Mall)
Contact Details: +971 800 8438439
Operating Hours: Monday to Sunday – 8 AM to 7:30 PM
Admission Cost: Start at 110 AED
The View at The Palm is on the 52nd of Palm Tower and offers amazing 360-degree views of Palm Jumeirah, the Arabian Gulf, and the Dubai skyline. It’s a great way to see the world-famous island from above, without having to fly!
You’ll start at Nakheel Mall, where you’ll learn how Palm Jumeirah was built (hint: it wasn’t just a big sandcastle). Then, you’ll take an elevator up to the observation deck, where big glass windows will give you unobstructed views!
You’ll go crazy taking pictures of the sights, but don’t forget to snap a pic at the designated photo op platforms.
The best time to visit is between 4 PM to 7 PM for the sunset. If you want to avoid long waits, you can opt to buy a fast-track ticket!
Pro Tip:
Try to volunteer during the interactive exhibit! Don’t worry because they won’t make you dance–you just need to step on a marker on the touch screen floor to move the presentation along!
Palm Jumeirah Boardwalk

The Palm Jumeirah Boardwalk is a great place to enjoy views of the Arabian Gulf. The walkway stretches 11 kilometers along the coast and is 6 meters wide, so there’s enough space for everyone to stroll without feeling crowded.
It’s a hotspot for walking, jogging, or cycling, but let’s not forget the most important activity: stopping every few minutes to snap “candid” sunset photos for Instagram.
There are food trucks serving treats, like shawarma and gelato, as well as refreshments, making it a must-stop for food lovers! There are small souvenir shops for tourists and locals alike.
Pro Tip:
Pets are not allowed on the boardwalk, so your furry friend will need to wait for you a little longer at home. (Try to bring home some treats instead!)

The pool is the main attraction here, but it’s not for the faint of heart! If you don’t fear heights, you can take a lap around the pool while admiring the view, or sip on a cocktail while relaxing on the many sunbeds overlooking the Palm!
If you’re an early riser, you can book experiences like The Sunrise Pool Experience, from 6 AM to 9 AM to catch the sunrise. You can also relax in the Indoor Lounge, join yoga classes, or even get a massage!

But for a full experience, you can try the Iconic Tour, a 17-minute tour that covers all the famous landmarks in the city!
It’s the perfect way to see Dubai from above—unless you’re like me and you spend the whole time gripping the seat, wondering if helicopters have seatbelts strong enough for panicked tourists.

If you suffer from motion sickness, severe anxiety, or heart problems, make sure to get clearance from your physicians before going on a helicopter ride!
5. The Pointe – Palm Jumeirah Fountain Walk
Media Credit: binfalah
Address: The Palm Jumeirah – Dubai
Operating Hours: Monday to Sunday – 8 AM to 3 AM
The Pointe is a massive 17-million-square-foot space where you can shop and dine while admiring the views of the Palm Jumeirah coast and the Atlantis resort.
It used to be the go-to spot for the Palm Fountain—until it shut down permanently in May 2023. But don’t worry! There are still plenty of places to shop and eat around here.
If you need a break from spending too much money, there’s also a beach nearby where you can relax and soak in the views—hopefully not while questioning your spending habits.
(Bonus: It’s a dog-friendly place, so make sure to take lots of pictures of your happy pup!)
Pro Tip:
When visiting the Pointe, don’t miss the chance to ride the Palm Monorail! A round-trip ticket costs 10 AED. Kids below 110 cm can ride for free!

The restaurant serves up Nikkei cuisine, a fusion of Peruvian and Japanese flavors, using high-quality ingredients. Their cocktails are just as creative, featuring flavors like pink yuzu and Peruvian bitters—because nothing says “I have refined taste” like sipping on something you can’t pronounce.
You can check out their special weekly offerings like the Saturday Yunza Eleven Brunch and Let’s Get Pisco’d After Party for unlimited drinks and sushi bites that won’t make your wallet cry.
Pro Tip:
Take note that there’s a dress code at this venue! Smart casual is required, so leave the beachwear, shorts, and open-toe shoes at home.

The Penthouse at Five Palm Jumeirah is the epitome of elegance and style—unlike me, who once tripped over my own feet while standing still. This adults-only spot is on the 16th floor and from here, you can see Palm Island, the Marina, and Bluewaters Island.
During the day, it’s a chill lounge, where you can spend the afternoon hanging out with friends. At night, it turns into a fun nightclub–so fun that you might forget you can’t dance!
Live DJs play a range of music from urban beats to house mixes so you can dance (awkwardly) into the night.
When you take a break from narrowly avoiding hitting people with your dance moves, check out their menu that offers Japanese-inspired dishes, as well as creative, expertly crafted cocktails.
Pro Tip:
Make sure to book a table or a slot at the VIP section in advance, as things may get crazy (fun)!

CouCou Dubai on Palm Jumeirah has amazing views and great food—finally, a place that looks as good in real life as it does on Instagram. This restaurant and bar is 52 stories up, giving a 360-degree view of the Palm Jumeirah and the Arabian Gulf!
The restaurant is perfect for romantic dinners, family gatherings, or a night out with friends. The menu features Mediterranean dishes made with high-quality ingredients, which is a refreshing change from my usual meal prep strategy of “whatever’s closest to expiration.”
Live DJ performances keep the energy high, but if you prefer a quieter time, there are cozy lounges where you can just sit back, sip a cocktail, and enjoy the view—exactly how I imagine my future if I ever win the lottery.
Pro Tip:
You can also try their shisha to add something extra fun to your night!

If you like feeling fancy but just want good food, Maiden Shanghai at FIVE Palm Jumeirah is a great place to go. They serve a mix of Chinese flavors from Cantonese, Sichuan, Shanghai, and Beijing—perfect for people like me who can never decide what to eat.
The place feels stylish but fun, with a live DJ playing music. It’s high up in the hotel, so you get amazing views of Dubai Marina and Ain Dubai. Even if you make a mess with your chopsticks (like I always do), at least you’ll have a pretty view to look at.
If you’re celebrating something special, they have private dining rooms with terraces for a more intimate experience. And if you like a little fun with your food, their Naughty Noodles Brunch on Fridays has all-you-can-eat Chinese dishes and unlimited cocktails—so you can eat, drink, and make a mess without anyone judging.

If you’re looking for stunning views in Palm Jumeirah but prefer to keep your feet closer to sea level (because, let’s be honest, heights can be overrated—and mildly terrifying), 101 Dining Lounge and Marina at One&Only The Palm is your perfect spot.
This stylish place is great for a sunset drink, a simple lunch, or a fancy dinner, with the menu featuring dishes prepared by Chef Yannick Alléno, so you know the food will be good!
For the ultra rich, there’s also a private dock, so you can arrive by boat and park for free while you eat. If a yacht is out of your budget, don’t worry! There are outdoor seating options and the boardwalk offers a scenic stroll, which is almost the same thing… right?
Pro Tip:
This restaurant may be on the water but they do accommodate cars! Take advantage of their valet parking for convenience. Rest assured they’ll park your car on land.
12. Palm Monorail

Address: Palm Jumeirah – Dubai – United Arab Emirates
Contact Details: +971 800 625 4335
Admission Cost: Start at AED 5
I’ve saved the best–and my personal favorite–for last! People don’t immediately think about the Palm Monorail as one of the best spots to view the Palm Jumeirah until they’ve tried it firsthand. It gives a unique view of the island–and it’s cheap too!
The ride takes only nine minutes, which is perfect for people like me with short attention spans. It starts at The Palm Gateway, stopping only at Nakheel Mall, Al Ittihad Park, and Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark. From up high, you’ll see luxury hotels, sandy beaches, and the sparkling sea–the best the Palm has to offer.
Of course, my favorite moment is the slow approach towards the final stop, watching the Atlantis grow bigger as we get closer. It feels like a scene from a movie—except instead of dramatic music, there’s probably a kid nearby asking for snacks.
Pro Tip:
If you’re fan of the Palm Monorail like me, look out for special offers on weekly, monthly, or yearly passes if you plan to visit frequently.
