The unbridled VIP experience is appropriately located along Sheikh Zayed Road in a nightclub called Blue Dubai.
Holding parties right by one of the city’s most prominent roads—and not far from its iconic coastline—Blu Dubai gathers crowds of high-class tourists and locals all looking to have a great night.
When we entered we were immediately enamored by the state-of-the-art LED screens and the beautifully crafted visual and lighting accompaniment to the music.
The club carefully curates a combination of world-class and up-and-coming DJ artists along with some A-lister performers such as Tyga, Flo Rida, and Akon.
And the result is a prestigious nightclub experience like no other. The music, the crowd, and the stage effects are all world-class—the perfect ingredients for an unforgettable night.
Our time there was only made even more luxurious with premier brands of spirits and beers. However, we wished that we had some cocktail selections that could enjoy without paying too much.
We’re also big fans of how they chose to deviate from the usual club events like ladies’ nights.
Instead, we get innovative and exciting themed parties like their Cabaret nights, their sexy Parisian-Brazilian TAM-TAM nights, and our favorite electronic music, IKON.

Bringing in the New York club scene to Dubai with a delicate balance of chicness and neon grittiness the Big Apple is known for, 1OAK brings a special nightclub experience to its crowd.
Located in the Business Bay by Dubai Creek, in a small entertainment area in the financial district, this nightclub draws in white-collar workers looking to let their hair down after a long work week.
This isn’t one of our top choices for tourists or those looking to mingle with some because it is situated deep into downtown Dubai where it’s more of a local attraction.
However, it’s great for the club-hopping crowd, as it is surrounded by great nightclubs. Whether you start or end with this one is up to you, but we truly recommend you stop by at 1OAK.
And one of our favorite reasons as to why you should is they take their “one of a kind” (abbreviated as OAK) principle to heart.
The club is home to a unique art collection by Roy Nachum that adds an artistic depth to the nightclub scene—harkening back to the club kid culture in New York City.
The hallway that leads to the dance floor is engraved with Charles Darwin’s writings that we found to have a cerebral effect on us, which is something you don’t often experience in nightclubs.
Their selection of drinks consists of premium spirits and carefully curated cocktails, so get ready to shell out some precious dirhams—don’t worry, they’re very well worth it.
However, as special as their selection is, we wished we had some more of the basic cocktails available for ordering like a rum and Coke or a Smirnoff.
As for their club events, we love that they have a theme for each day of the week, led by their world-renowned DJs who bring their own eclectic sets to set the atmosphere. So, never expect to have the same experience each time you come to 1OAK.
That being said, their promotional events that are for drawing in certain crowds to enjoy their nightclub are severely limited to two ladies’ nights every week.
All in all, 1OAK approaches the nightclub experience with more intention and thought than people could give nightclubs credit for.
We’re amazed at how they managed to encapsulate the New York nightclub experience and tweak it to fit Dubai because the result is definitely a one-of-a-kind party experience.

Definitely a night to remember
“If you want proper clubbing to go the club area, the terrace is a more calm place for shisha and drinks. You can’t go inside the club if you book a table at the terrace as you have to move around and stay where your table is. So good to have that in mind as we were not sure and first booked the terrace, then we paid a little bit more and we have moved to the club. Party was really good. That’s what you want when going to Dubai, champagne bottles flying around, we saw Will I Am from Black Eyed Peas. From the staff, we would like to thank Nini for a warm welcome. Following the footsteps of its award-winning big sister from Beirut, SKYBAR, Sky 2.0 brings in the festive energy of Lebanon and celebrates its fusion with the Arabian nightclub culture.
Located within the vicinity of downtown Dubai, the club is somewhat separated from the other mainstream choice by the Dubai Creek and interchanges.
While it can be an inconvenience at face value, we actually think that its geographical separation creates some sense of exclusivity for the crowd it draws in since it is the sole nightclub in the district.
And the exclusivity doesn’t just end with its location. We love how the dome-like structure of the nightclub conjures up memories of international music festivals like Tomorrowland.
Its glowing pink, red, and orange lights bring in a certain sense of warmth that is likened to cyberpunk movies, making the nightclub feel like from the future.
And the presence of the palm trees contrasts the futuristic vibe, giving the space that one-of-a-kind Dubai luxury.
Probably its weakest point is that its bar only serves spirits by the glass and by the bottle. The lack of cocktail selections is disappointing but not a dealbreaker for us.
But what we love about their bar is that it’s big and can seat more than 20 people at once, making it really efficient and convenient for us partygoers.
Lastly, we love how Sky 2.0 values quality over quantity with its club events. They only have three every week, which go from Thursdays to Saturdays.
Despite only having three, we love the clear and decisive visions that they have for each event, giving us a clear picture of what kind of music and crowd we’re going to have for the night.
We especially love Boom Box Fridays because we get to jam along with the biggest hits from the 80s and 90s—the right music for our age group.
All in all, Sky 2.0 takes the best bits of the Beirut nightclub scene and marries it successfully with the luxury of Dubai.
The result is an explosion of colors and music that is top-notch and guaranteed to have you coming back for as much as we did after our first night there.

A nightclub that makes the most out of its Arabian roots to dazzle and turn up the party, that is the one and only Omni Club Dubai.
Located in the northern part of Dubai, this club is totally separated from the other mainstream clubs in the city.
That being said, we love how it has its own crowd that works and lives in the vicinity, and it’s also a great choice for looking for a different scene.
But that means that going here means you’re going to have a difficult time club hopping because it is the only nightclub in the area.
For those who are willing to do away with the usual hauntings of the party people of Dubai, they are rewarded with one of the most unique nightclub experiences they can find in the city.
We love that there’s a sense of palpable intrigue and mystery that radiates from the nightclub’s neon lights, professional Arabic DJs, fire dancers, and aerial acrobats.
These, we think, are what separates Omni Club Dubai from the others. No other nightclubs in the city showcase and make the most out of the local talents as much as they do.
The result is truly an essential Arabian nightclub experience that not many can do nowadays.
They also have a decent range of cocktails and spirits, but what takes their drinks selection up a notch is the presentation. It’s something that’s often overlooked in bars, but having drinks be Instagram-ready really makes a difference and added another layer of fun to our night.
We especially love their sangria because of its great balance of fresh fruity flavors and the quality of the red wine is superb.
However, this nightclub’s weakest point is probably their club events simply because there aren’t any.
They don’t have clear daily events or promotions that could draw in certain crowds. However, we appreciate that each night has a program that gives time for DJs, performers, and bands equally.
The Omni Club Dubai, for us, is the quintessential Arabian nightclub experience. And those who are willing to go out of their way are rewarded with one of the most unique experiences ever.

Muscovites Restaurant and Club is one of our favorite nightclubs based on its accessibility and convenience.
Right between downtown Dubai and the coastline of the city, this nightclub presents its own nightclub experience to both locals and tourists, becoming a hotspot for both every night.
We also love that it also has its fair share of other nightclubs in the vicinity that let our group do a little bit of hopping around.
The nightclub is also known for a lot of things. It has a restaurant, DJs, live bands, dance performances, sheeshas, and billiards. At some point, it has become a mixed bag for us.
While we appreciate the wide range of options for partygoers to enjoy, we’re not sure which is the focal point and what the nightclub wants us to experience with what they offer.
Perhaps it’s a bit one too many activities for us to really hone in on the certain atmosphere that Muscovites wants to give.
But the great thing about having a lot of everything is that this also applies to their selection of drinks. They have cocktails, shooters, and spirits that we had fun choosing from.
Their ladies’ nights happen three days a week, which was really such a huge deal for us because we get complimentary drinks here more often than anywhere else.
However, other than their ladies’ nights, there are really no other themed nights or events that happen weekly. There are no themed sets from DJs either, so partygoers can’t expect anything specific for a night in this club.
And this really doesn’t help their identity and the ambiance of the nightclub. It left us confused about what the party’s vibe was, and it was a bit of a dealbreaker for us.
Despite that, Muscovites Restaurant and Club still draws in huge crowds, which is something that partygoers are looking for.
And the fact that they’re so conveniently located between the coastline and downtown makes them such a popular choice for almost everyone looking to party.
