10 Dubai Hotels That’ll Make Your Kids Forget About Screen Time
On my very first visit to Dubai, I had to look for a hotel where the kids could have fun and the adults could relax (and have a much needed break from life).
After a bit of searching, we found a few hotels that had it all—waterparks, kids’ clubs, and activities that kept our little ones entertained for hours. I was ecstatic, because when the kids are happy, everyone’s happy!
So, if you’re planning a trip and want to make sure the kids are as excited as you are, here’s a list of hotels with kids activities in Dubai where fun is guaranteed—and peace is right at your fingertips.
1. Legoland Dubai Resort

Address: Parks & Resorts – Sheikh Zayed Rd – Dubai (in Dubai Parks and Resorts)
Contact Details: +971 4 820 3123
Operating Hours: Monday to Sunday – 12 to 8 PM
Star Rating: 4-star
Price Range: $$
Legoland Hotel Dubai is everything a kid could ask for. Walking in felt like stepping inside a giant Lego set. Bright colors, life-sized Lego sculptures, and kids running around like they just found the golden ticket to Willy Wonka’s factory.
The lobby alone was enough to keep our kids busy. Giant play areas filled with Lego bricks meant that checking in took twice as long—partly because the kids refused to leave the play zone (and partly because we were secretly enjoying it too).
The room was also fun! Bright, Lego-themed decor, bunk beds for the kids, and—best of all—a secret treasure hunt. Our kids were on a mission solving puzzles to unlock a box with a free Lego gift inside.
It was one of the highlights of their stay, and honestly, we had just as much fun watching them figure it out.
And the hotel wasn’t just about sleeping in a cool room. Every evening, there was some kind of entertainment—character meet-and-greets, fun shows, and more!
Even the breakfast buffet was built for kids—tables set at their height, tons of food choices, and lots of happy (and very loud) little guests enjoying their little meals.
Pro Tip:
Go for a themed room! The Castle and Ninjago are kid favorites. Your kids will love it, and you’ll be the hero!
2. Jumeirah Beach Hotel

Address: Jumeira St – Umm Suqeim – Umm Suqeim 3 – Dubai

Star Rating: 5-star
Price Range: $$-$$$
If you’re looking for the ultimate family-friendly stay in Dubai, Jumeirah Beach Hotel is a perfect choice. This luxurious beachfront hotel offers everything needed for a fun, relaxing, and memorable getaway with kids.
Our room had amazing views of the Arabian Gulf, and the kids were thrilled with the animal-shaped towels waiting on the beds!
Every day, a new surprise appeared—sometimes a cake, sometimes chocolates, and during the holidays, even stockings filled with treats. These little details made a big difference!
The biggest highlight? Wild Wadi Waterpark is free for hotel guests. It’s just just a short walk away and it felt like having our own private theme park. The kids loved racing down waterslides, while we happily floated down the lazy river (until we got splashed, of course).
The kids’ club became our best friend. The staff were amazing, keeping the kids entertained for hours while we snuck off for a peaceful coffee (or if we’re being honest, a nap). For older kids, there’s a tennis court they can enjoy too!
Pro Tip:
The hotel has a free buggy service to nearby Jumeirah properties. The kids will love the ride, and you’ll love not having to walk everywhere.
3. JA Beach Hotel

Address: Exit No – 13 شارع الشيخ زايد – Dubai – United Arab Emirates
Contact Details: +971 4 814 5555
Star Rating: 5-star
Price Range: $$-$$$
JA Beach Hotel is the real deal for families. This beachfront resort had more activities than we had time for, and trust us—we tried. It’s not just a hotel–it’s a mini theme park and beach retreat all rolled into one.
This spot is just a short drive from Legoland® Dubai and MOTIONGATE Dubai, but honestly, we barely left because there was already so much to do inside.
The rooms and suites are designed for comfort, with balconies or terraces offering incredible views. While booking, make sure to request a sea-view room, as some rooms may face the rooftop air conditioning units.
This resort is a paradise for kids! Multiple splash parks, a dedicated kids’ club, a mini-zoo, and a horse-riding club keep little ones entertained all day. The resort also has several pools, including a baby pool and a deeper one just for adult guests (because grown ups need fun too).
The hotel also has water sports, a shooting range, tennis courts, and a golf course. And for parents who are tired from minding their kids all day, the spa and traditional hammam are the perfect escape!
Pro Tip:
Make sure to book kids’ activities early—spots fill up fast! The kids’ club, horse riding, and splash parks are often busy. Waiting until tomorrow might mean missing out!
4. Centara Mirage Beach Resort Dubai

Address: Dubai Islands – Front – Dubai
Contact Details: +971 4 522 9999
Star Rating: 4-star
Price Range: $$-$$$
Centara Mirage Beach Resort Dubai is the kind of place that makes family vacations easy. No stress, no scrambling to find things to do—the kids had fun nonstop and the parents–let’s just say we were happy to have a break!
The family rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clearly designed by someone who understands that parents and kids need their own space. The real star of the show, though, are the pools!
There were heated pools, a lazy river, and water slides that could keep the kids entertained for hours (we barely saw them, except when they ran back to grab snacks). The lifeguards are on top of everything, so we felt safe to relax while the kids had fun.
For older kids, the games room was a huge hit. Between that and the kids’ club, we were free to sneak in a little relaxation. The beach was nice, too—plenty of loungers—but honestly, the pools were the main attraction.
The location is close to the airport, which is great for convenience but it does mean there was an occasional airplane overhead. Didn’t bother us much, though—we had too much going on to notice!
Pro Tip:
Long flight? The hotel often allows early check-ins. Email ahead and you might be in bed—or the pool—sooner.
5. Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah

Star Rating: 5-star

Staying at Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah felt like stepping into a little slice of paradise—with a whole lot of extras for kids. The location is hard to beat, since it’s right on the beach with views of the Dubai skyline.
The rooms are spacious, modern, and perfect for families. The interconnecting bedrooms gave everyone their own space, so we were tempted to stay in and just order room service. But with so much to do, we knew staying put wasn’t an option!
The private beach and pool became our second home. The beach was quiet, the water was warm, and the lifeguards were more alert than a parent who heard a kid say, “I need the toilet”.
The kids’ club was another hit. The staff kept the little ones entertained while we snuck off for some much-needed downtime at the spa. The massage was incredible, but the fact that no one called for “Mom” or “Dad” for an hour was even better.
And the service here is top-notch–the staff didn’t just smile and nod. They actually cared about little things that make a stay feel special!
Pro Tip:
Treat yourself at Above Eleven & Okku! They offer amazing food, great service, and a good reason to dress up for dinner!
6. Le Méridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Waterpark

Le Méridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Waterpark knows how to keep families happy. Between the beach, the pools, the water park, and the endless food options, there’s no dull moment here.
The rooms are spacious, modern, and family-friendly, with sea or city views. There’s also plenty of storage, comfortable beds, and big windows that make the space feel bright and airy.
The club-level rooms come with extra perks, but light sleepers should beware—some sea-view rooms come with an unexpected bonus: bass-thumping music from the neighboring hotels.
The water park here is a winner. Little ones will enjoy zipping down slides while parents can relax poolside, pretending to read but mostly just enjoying the quiet (just like we did).
The multiple pools mean you can pool hop with the kids, and the private beach is also perfect for an afternoon of sandcastle building.
Another highlight is eating here! There are ten restaurants serving from fresh seafood to international buffets. (Speaking of buffets, the one here is s a dream! One plate turned into three before we even realized it.)
Pro Tip:
This hotel is worth the splurge, but prices climb in high season. A little off-peak planning goes a long way!
7. Dubai Marine Beach Resort & Spa

For those searching for a family-friendly resort in Dubai with great activities for kids, Dubai Marine Beach Resort & Spa is a fantastic choice!
The hotel has a great beachfront location, and we couldn’t get enough of the sea views—perfect for some much-needed relaxation after a day of shopping.
The resort has three pools, which meant the kids could swim and play all day long without ever getting bored.
The rooms and villas are spacious, which was a huge plus for us with the kids. If you’re coming with your little ones, go for the family or deluxe rooms—trust me, you’ll appreciate the extra space.
We were also grateful for the early check-in—a lifesaver when traveling with kids. And the fact that there’s a shopping center and restaurants nearby means we didn’t need to travel far for a good meal or a little retail therapy!
Pro Tip:
The hotel’s staff is amazing, especially at the front desk and restaurant. Chat with them—they know the best spots around town and can help make your stay feel extra special.
8. Atlantis – The Palm

When planning a family vacation in Dubai, Atlantis, The Palm, is one of the best hotels with kids’ activities. This luxurious resort offers everything needed for an unforgettable stay, especially when traveling with little ones!
The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and some even offer sea views. But let’s be real—no one’s spending much time in the room when there’s a massive water park just waiting to be explored.
Free entry for hotel guests means we spent hours on water slides, wave pools, and lazy rivers. The kids were in heaven! Even better, the Lost Chambers Aquarium let us experience the underwater world without getting wet, which kept both the kids and my hair dry.
To make things even easier, they offer kids’ activities and caretakers, which gave us a chance to enjoy some downtime while the little ones were entertained. It was great knowing that someone was looking after them, so we could just sit back, and pretend we were on a real beach vacation for a change.
Pro Tip:
Don’t miss the birthday perks: if it’s your birthday or anniversary, ask about special offers. You might get discounts or fun surprises!
9. JA Hatta Fort Hotel

If you’re looking for a family-friendly getaway in the mountains (for a change), look no further than JA Hatta Fort Hotel. Just a short 1.5-hour drive from Dubai, this family-friendly retreat offers plenty of outdoor activities!
The rooms are spacious, with large windows offering views of the mountains. Each room had a private terrace, which became our go-to spot for some quiet time. Plus, the hotel is pet-friendly, so even the family dog can come along.
There’s no shortage of things to do with kids at the hotel. We tried everything from horse riding and archery to shooting at the range (don’t worry, no Wild West shootouts). The mini-golf was a hit with the kids, and the two pools were the perfect spots to cool off.
We couldn’t get enough of the well-maintained petting zoo either, which is a great experience for kids of any age! For the more adventurous families, the hotel is just minutes away from Hatta Hub and some great hiking trails!
Pro Tip:
For a cozy, quiet stay, book the Terra cabins—but be ready for a short golf cart ride to the main area.

Rixos The Palm Dubai is a fantastic choice for a luxurious, family-friendly getaway!
The rooms are spacious, comfy, and designed with a kind of elegance that makes you feel like you’re living the high life. We enjoyed lounging around, taking in the views of the Gulf, and letting the kids enjoy their own space.
Now, for the kids. The Kids Club is a dream come true for parents. Our little ones had an absolute blast, from arts and crafts to a weekly carnival. The staff really knows how to keep them entertained!
When we weren’t at the Kids Club, we were by the pool or on the private beach. The spa was incredible. There’s also watersports for those who like a little adrenaline during their vacation.
Finally, the all-inclusive dining experience here is top-tier. We got to try a variety of cuisines, from Turkish to Japanese. We especially loved the weekly BBQ night–one of the highlights of our stay!
Pro Tip:
Plan your time wisely when going around Dubai! Rixos at the edge of Palm Jumeirah, so it might take a bit longer to get to central Dubai.
