We Stretched And Survived These 5 Free Yoga Classes in Dubai
New year, new me, so I’ve always wanted to try something different and get healthier. So I signed up for a “beginner-friendly” yoga class, only to end up next to some pro who could basically fold themselves like origami. Yeah, not happening.
But have you seen how expensive some yoga sessions are? Especially the packages? No thanks. That’s when I discovered free yoga classes all over Dubai. Perfect deal—I get to stretch, but my wallet doesn’t.
I started sharing my free finds on social media, and now my friends are jealous. And since I’m not about gatekeeping, I brought them along! Now we’re on a mission to try out these best zero-dirham yoga opportunities I found.

Karma Yoga Studio offers a free trial class every Saturday in Dubai, allowing newcomers to experience the studio’s vibe and wellness practices without a lot of pressure.
For us, this is great for those interested in exploring yoga for the first time. We also like that the studio is inspired by serene Bali vibes, having earth tones and tropical elements, making the experience even more relaxing.
Once you’re interested, you’ll find that it provides a wide range of classes. This includes beginner sessions, Yin (slow and meditative), Vinyasa (dynamic and flowing), Ashtanga (rigorous and structured), and Hatha (balanced)—there’s a yoga option for all!
Pro tips:
While Karma Yoga provides water, yoga mats, and props, we recommend bringing your own yoga towel for personal use.
Driving to your class?
We say use the free parking available at Dubai Marina Mall! Paid parking is offered at Marina Plaza on the first floor too.

Urban Tribe hosts free outdoor yoga sessions as part of their fitness community initiatives. Sessions include a mix of yoga, HIIT, and other fitness activities, promoting healthy living in a supportive environment—so we say no need to be shy.
We appreciate that each 2-hour session has it all, including high-intensity interval training (HIIT), animal flow exercises, core strengthening, yoga, and specialized breathing techniques.
In our opinion, you’ll be sure that you get a full-body workout for your physical and mental well-being—all in a scenic Dubai park or space too!
For your safety:
We recommend arriving on time at Urban Tribe Dubai’s complimentary sessions. This way, you can participate in the full warm-up routine and prevent injuries. Some fitness activities here may feel a bit advanced after all, in our opinion.

Yoga in the Park

If all else fails and you can’t find a studio that can offer free yoga classes in Dubai, there are always individuals or organizations with this initiative. One is a public group called Free Community Yoga Dubai, and we love that it’s open to all levels and ages!
Besides enjoying outdoor yoga sessions in Dubai parks, we like that you can befriend other yogis, practice and perfect your favorite yoga poses, and share notes.
Just remember:
Many free yoga classes don’t come with complimentary mats, so we encourage bringing your own fitness equipment to ensure comfort and hygiene. Don’t forget your water bottle, towel, sunscreen, and/or hat too!
