These Dubai Marina Hotels Check All the Right Boxes
If you ask me, Dubai Marina is the best neighborhood in the city, period. It’s the dreamy feeling of waking up to yachts parked on the marina, the water surrounding the area and the chic ambiance that ties it all together.
But while I still dream of owning one of the stunning apartments in this area, I treat myself to a staycation at one of the chic Dubai Marina hotels every now and then.
And yes, I know you’re going to ask me for recommendations, so here are my top favourites.

When I think about a great Dubai Marina hotel, the InterContinental Dubai Marina is the first thing that comes to mind – and why not?
This hotel is located right at the heart of Dubai Marina and a walking distance to the famous Jumeirah Beach. And in true InterContinental style, you can expect nothing but the best service from this international hotel chain.
One of the best things about staying at the InterContinental is the option to book a room, suite, or residence if you’re planning to stay in the city longer.
With 328 accommodations to choose from, you surely have something to satisfy your every need – whether it’s a bigger space, a more luxurious room, or just the best views of the marina.
Every room in this hotel is also fitted with the most comfortable bed and luxurious bedding that I can guarantee you’ll have the best sleep of your life.
It also has a restaurant and bar for you to relax in and enjoy some good food, and a deli for you to grab a quick bite to take to your room.

The First Collection Marina is the closest thing I can get to living my dream of being a resident in Dubai Marina.
This hotel is focused on letting you experience the marina lifestyle with each room offering the best views of the water, world-class amenities and a central location where you’re near all of Dubai Marina’s attractions.
I also love that The First Collection Marina is home to two unique dining destinations. The Blacksmith is a meat lover’s dream restaurant being the first smokehouse restaurant in the region.
Alloro Ristorante, on the other hand, specialises in Tuscan cuisine with its family-style sharing brunch attracting guests from around Dubai.
I recommend staying at The First Collection if you want convenience and luxury in one place, especially if you’re traveling with kids.

When you think about Radisson, you think about luxury and elegance. But for me, the Radisson Blu Residence feels more like home.
Aside from its regular rooms, you also have the option to live in long-lease apartments with the most spectacular views of the marina.
And these aren’t just your regular apartments because they are designed by Matteo Nunziati featuring a minimalist aesthetic.
You also get all the conveniences of a home including a modern kitchen, spacious living area and the most comfortable bedroom. You can go with a studio, one- or two-bedroom apartment depending on your needs.
Radisson is also a favourite among business travellers because it has different meeting facilities for small gatherings and big events.

Grosvenor House tops my list of the best Dubai Marina hotels because it’s stylish, iconic and just simply luxurious.
It’s hard to miss Grosvenor House with its 45-floor twin towers that stand out from its neighbours in the area.
Here, you get to choose from more than 750 rooms and suites, each designed with pure luxury in mind. You also get access to outdoor pools, a world-class spa and of course, some of the best restaurants in the city.
Grosvenor House is home to some of the top restaurants in Dubai Marina. There’s Toro Toro by Chef Richard Sandoval, the best restaurant for South American cuisine.
If you want to enjoy good food and a good time, there’s Buddha Bar, one of the city’s top bars with the best views. Indego by Vineet is another winner from Michelin-Star Chef Vineet Bhatia.
Now if you want a more relaxed dining experience with a show kitchen, you should try Sloane’s, especially its iconic weekly brunch that will surely leave you happy and full.

Of course, this list wouldn’t be complete without one of my go-to Dubai Marina hotels if I want to be surrounded by art, luxury and excellent customer service.
Stella Di Mare is an art lover’s dream hotel with its Art Deco interiors that offer the perfect contrast to the views of the marina.
Each room is designed so that you get to wake up with views of the city or the marina every morning. You also get to choose from different options – from regular rooms to suites – to cater to every need.
Stella Di Mare also has all the amenities that you would want in a five-star hotel, so you never have to leave the premises if you want to dine, relax and have a good time.
I especially love their spa whenever I need to unwind and recharge after a busy day of exploring the city. And the selection of restaurants here is beyond superb.
Seafood lovers, you can have a feast at Yemaya Restaurant. There’s also La Terrazza Restaurant if you want to be near the water and La Fontana Restaurant for one of the best international buffets in the city.
Craving for authentic Japanese food? There’s Hisaya Restaurant. And if you want to go old school, there’s the famous 70s restaurant with all its old world glam.
And the best part is, everything in Dubai Marina is within minutes from the hotel. So whether you want to go to the promenade, shop at the Dubai Marina Mall or rent a yacht, you have everything on your fingertips.
