The staff are very good at caring for their patients and plenty of patients have noted the in-depth care they received.
It does mean there’s a backlog of work at the hospital most times, which they confessed could lead to long waiting times.

Al Zahra Hospital puts the premium in premium medical care. And that covers both their manual and robotic-assisted surgeries here in Dubai.
Specifically, Al Zahra uses the Versius Robotic Surgical Systems over the older da Vinci model, which they told us vastly improved their surgical procedures: highlighting their commitment to their premium label, if you ask us!
This even extends to their room service and personal care provided by the doctors and staff of course. Patients we spoke to sang praises about their stay!
There’s some waiting time when it comes to sorting out the documentation and paperwork though, as we were told when we called. You might have to wait a bit in order to get things processed if it’s not too urgent.
In that case, we really just recommend calling ahead to check availability like we did. Because otherwise, Al Zahra Hospital is one impressive place to seek should you require robotic surgery services here in Dubai.

The American Hospital is known for being a multi-specialty hospital as well as a self-professed robotics center and innovation hub. Fortunately, we think they’ve lived up to that latter claim.
For starters, they carry not just the da Vinci Robotic Xi System but they also have an exclusive agreement to the ROSA Knee System. The staff we spoke to laid out details for both, informing us of what works best for procedures.
For the American Hospital, that is a norm. Their multi-specialty nature does mean they have the staff to provide personalized care and consultations, as they demonstrated to us.
Patients did recommend making in-person appointments however. Their remote booking system can get rather backed up from what we were able to observe.
For anyone trying out robotic surgery in the American Hospital though, it’s also advised to wait a bit for the results. They’re surprisingly accurate and efficient, which really helps them earn our recommendation.

A little downside is the longer waiting times in the ER however, as the staff still struggles with the volume of patients they receive.

When we spoke to them, they proudly told us of their long history with robotic surgery in Dubai, using the da Vinci surgical system to provide minimally-invasive and painless operations for all kinds of procedures.
The staff was very forthcoming with the details of their aftercare and recovery process as well. Prepare for a thorough orientation in case you decide to undergo surgery here at the Clemenceau Medical Center!
That being said, some patients did complain about the unclear schedules the doctors follow. You may face some waiting time both for the actual procedure and for consultations and follow-ups.
That being said, Clemenceau Medical Center remains a very reliable hospital for most procedures in Dubai. Anyone should be able to get specialized care when popping in for their medical needs.
