Awning selection with Royal Shades is quite focused, generally falling in line with the other products they already offer. They are typically made from acrylic cloth or canvas and they also come in all sorts of bright and dark colours.
Unfortunately, Royal Shades doesn’t seem to offer a lot of motorised options and we weren’t able to find any during our initial visit. So if this is the type you need, then you might have to look elsewhere.
They do offer lighting for their awnings though, which does package your shade and exterior lighting in one. You can choose between back-lit and front-lit awnings, and these also come in all sorts of colours and effects.
Additionally, they can also customise an order to be used for advertising purposes. They can add graphics, logos, and texts to the material if it’s to be used this way.
Of course, this does mean that the custom work takes some time to complete so you’ll have to work this in your schedule, especially if you’re the busy type.
Still, their strong selection of colours makes them a good pick for decorative and advertising purposes without compromising on the functionality. If this is what you need and are okay without some automation then Royal Shades is a good choice.

As such, we think people who are big into smart technology and accessories will appreciate this level of integration. Both residential and commercial clients should be able to find a solution that works for them.
Prices are quite high, as expected with all the automated features you can add. However, we think they can improve on the communication front as some customers did report being surprised by additional fees that were not mentioned earlier.
